On November 5th, 2017, in the lead up to COP 23 taking place in Bonn, Germany, Pathway to Paris in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme and 350.org organized a concert event at Carnegie Hall with incredible musicians and leading thinkers to highlight the importance of making Paris real. Pathway to Paris announced a new initiative at the event called 1000 cities, inviting all cities of the world to transition to 100% renewables by 2040. All proceeds from the event were donated to 350.org, Pathway to Paris, and the UNDP.

Featuring performances and talks from Patti Smith, Bill McKibben, Dr. Vandana Shiva, Michael Stipe, Flea, Talib Kweli, Cat Power, Tanya Tagaq, Tenzin Choegyal, Rebecca Foon and Jesse Paris Smith.
